Congratulations to all our medal winners who entered their wines in the Florida State Fair International Wine Competition! We are really proud of you all. Your medals and comment sheets will be forthcoming. There were 203 amateur wines entered. 8 were awarded double-gold, 28 gold, 52 silver, and 62 bronze. Our club members combined were awarded 38! Good showing!
While judging and volunteering at the Fair Competition, we asked to have the wines which were determined by the judges to be faulted to be put aside so that we could bring them to our meeting for you all to smell or taste. The exposure to air will change them somewhat but hope they will hold. We have recorked them for your sensory pleasure!?
